Aprilia History
Just after World War II Aprilia was founded as a bicycle producer by Cavaliere Alberto Beggio.
When Cavaliere's son Ivano took over the company started to venture into motorcycles by producing mopeds called Colibrì, Daniela and Packi. In 1970 they then produced a Motocross bike called the Scarbabeo.
Aprilia has continued to grow and have had many very succesfull bikes including recently the extremely popular RS 50 & 125's. Most recently Aprilia has continued it's racing success with Max Biaggi winning the WSBK in 2010 on the new Aprilia RSV4
